Indian Water Works Association (IWWA) is
a voluntary body of professionals concerned and connected with water
supply for municipal, industrial, agricultural, recreational and like uses along with treatment, quality
management and disposal of waste water. IWWA focuses basically on the entire “Water Cycle” encompassing the
environment, social, institutional, and financial issues. It was formed in 1968 and has 36 centers across the
country with HQ at Mumbai. It has more than 12000 members and has linkage with similar International
organizations like International Water Association, Japan Water Works Association, Singapore Water
Association,
American water Works Association etc. It conducts regular Seminars, Symposiums, Conferences at center and
national level
